LEGO Has Revealed 2022’s Advent Calendars
Holidays are coming to the LEGO store, with the reveal of five seasonal Advent Calendars. All the usual suspects are here – Star Wars, Friends, City and Harry Potter – and this year, we’re also getting a Guardians of the Galaxy-themed calendar.
All of them will be available in stores from 1st September, priced at either £21.99 (Friends and City) or £29.99 (licensed). Let’s take a look at each of them, shall we?

LEGO Star Wars 75340 Advent Calendar

LEGO City 60352 Advent Calendar

The minifigures included in LEGO City Advent Calendar 2022 are wonderful. As you’d expect, there’s a Santa Claus, but there’s also a bell boy, a shopkeeper, a blue-haired ice-skated and two children. They’re all brilliant – and in fact, based on characters from the LEGO City Adventures TV series, if you’re familiar. Other builds include a piano, a Christmas tree, a rocking horse and more. LEGO Harry Potter 76404 Advent Calendar

The Harry Potter Advent Calendar of 2022 is certainly winning in the minifigure stakes. Theere are seven included here, each with their own display base. There’s Harry, Moaning Myrtle, Sirius Black, Voldemort, Horace Slughorn, Nymphadora Tonks and Neville Longbottom. The are three builds from each movie, creating mini scenes that unfold each day. LEGO Marvel 76231 Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Calendar

We have no additional details to go off with the Guardians of the Galaxy advent calendar, other than what’s on the box. And so we know it includes minifigures of Star-Lord, Groot, Rocket and Mantis. There’ll possibly be some more in there too. Tying into Disney+’s Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, we’re excited to see more about this one.
