Revisit one of Pixar’s finest movies with this Lego Disney WALL-E and EVE 43729 set

Does WALL-E, Pixar’s little yellow robot hold a special place in your heart? Then you’ll be happy to hear that Lego is releasing an official Lego Disney WALL-E and EVE 43729 set and, even better, it won’t cost you an arm and a leg.
Existence of the set was leaked a while back, including pictures of the packaging, which isn’t that uncommon with sets. Lego sets are sometimes delivered to retailers well before their release and all it takes is for someone to snap a surreptitious picture.
But now, Lego has officially confirmed this set, featuring WALL-E and EVE. is happening, and it’ll be available from September 1st priced at just £59.99/$69.99. Aside from the titular pair, the set also includes M-O and Hal for WALL-E completists.
Made up of 811 bricks, the whole Lego Disney WALL-E and EVE 43729 set absolutely nails the look of Pixar’s movie. If you’ve not seen the movie, it’s well worth a watch. It tells the story of WALL-E, the last robot on abandoned, trash-filled Earth.
While the set is rated for 18+ builders there’s at least some potential for play here. All the characters, Hal aside, have movable heads and arms. We’d have liked to see a trash heap-style stand, but that would no doubt have pushed the price up.
