A LEGO Creator Pickup Truck is Releasing on 1st October

LEGO 10290 Pickup Truck

A new model will be coming to LEGO’s Creator Expert vehicles range on 1st October. It’s a vintage Pickup Truck, based on classic American vehicles, and it’s kitted out with farmyard produce. This is the type of vehicle you’d imagine rocking up at a village fair, ready to sell you fresh fruit and vegetables.

Unusual for a Creator Expert vehicle, though, is the fact that this isn’t based on any particular car. We’ve had the Ford Mustang, the Porsche 911, the Aston Martin DB5, the Fiat 500; this particular model carries no brand. It’s simply a concept of a recognisable type of vehicle.

It doesn’t make it any less desirable, though. It’s a fantastic looking vehicle, built in a burnt red colour, with lots of little details packed in. There are working doors, upholstered-effect seats, removable side railings and working steering.

The model is 1,677 pieces and, of course, is marketed as an ’18+’ set. If you already have any of LEGO’s Creator Expert vehicles, this one will sit nicely alongside them, roughly to the same scale.

LEGO 10290 Pickup Truck will be available from 1st October, priced at £119.99. More images are available below. Let us know what you think of this one in the comments – will you be picking it up when October rolls around?
