Be Lego’s guest with this Disney Beauty and the Beast Castle set
Love Beauty and Beast? You’ll soon be able to get the movie’s castle rendered in Lego.

The Lego Disney train keeps on rolling, with a gorgeous new set based on the castle from the animated Beauty and the Beast, home of Belle, the Beast and several pieces of sentient crockery. It’s not just for show, either; with four floors, including an actual ballroom, there’s plenty of play potential here.
This Lego Disney Beauty and the Beast Castle 43263 set is coming this April 1 but it’s no joke. It’s an impressive 53cm x 33cm x 15cm in size and is made up of 2916 pieces. It’s rated for builders aged 18+ so while kids will no doubt have a whale of a time with it, they’ll need adult help to put it together.
There are also some cool little functions built into this set, too. The ballroom floor spins, which sounds massively disorientating but if you’ve seen Disney’s Beauty & The Beast you’ll get a kick out of recreating those scenes. The dining room also boasts spinning features, but what about the characters? That’s where this set really promises to deliver.
The set contains minifigures of Disney’s Belle, the Beast, Gaston, LeFou and Maurice, which is handy. But what’s really cool is that it also includes the sentient clock, the singing Angela Lansbury-voiced teapot and various other non-minifigure characters.

It’s £239.99 price tag pushes it out of pocket money territory, but we can still see this delighting young Disney fans. The set isn’t available for pre-order, but Lego Insiders can get it from April 1 from the Lego store and non-Insiders will be able to purchase it from April 4.
That is a lot of pieces
