We’re loving this Beetlejuice: Ghost House Lego Ideas submission

Here are all the Deetz.

Lego Ideas Beetlejuice Ghost House 1

With Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in cinemas, you might be in the mood for some Lego Beetlejuice in your life. And if all goes to plan, Lego Ideas user Jupe71345 might just have the set for you. Their Beetlejuice: Ghost House set, submitted today, not only recreates the remodelled Deetz’s home in brick form, but also comes with a wonderful selection of minifigs and mini builds.

What is Lego Ideas Spotlight?

Lego Ideas Spotlight is a regular feature where we highlight some of our favourite Lego Ideas submissions. These are usually early submissions that still have a long way to go before reaching the review stage. That means there’s no guarantee the sets we feature here will ever become official sets. Rather, we like to celebrate clever and unique designs of talented Lego fans. To see more of our favourite Lego Ideas submissions, click here.

We’d argue that the Deetz house is the star of this set, being a wonderful recreation packed with many neat details. There’s a sandworm bursting through one of its exterior walls, for example. And if you open it up (yes, you can do that), you’ll find that rooms such as the dining area and Barb and Adam’s attic are packed with detail. Even elements of Adam’s model are included including Dante’s and Beetlejuice’s tombstone.

Minifig fans will be happy as well though, what with the set including 10 of them overall. There’s the Deetz family, of course, as well as Barb and Adam Maitland, Beetlejuice, Ms. Argentina, The Shrinker, and more. Barb and Adam even have swappable scary heads, you know, to try and deter the Deetz family from their home.

Though only submitted to Lego Ideas today, Beetlejuice: Ghost House already has 133 supporters. We reckon it might pick up traction and reach the required 10,000 supporters in the not-to distant future. With Beetlejuice previously making an appearance in Lego Dimensions, there’s a good chance this could get turned into a real set, too. Head on over to Lego Ideas to give it your vote.
