We’re obsessed with this Gilmore Girls Lego Ideas submission
We need this as much as Lorelei needs coffee.
Do you wish that you lived in Stars Hollow? Do you daydream about being BFFs with Rory Gilmore and spending your days taste-testing Sookie’s creations in the kitchen? Maybe that’s just us, but surely you’d like to have this Gilmore Girls Lego set in your collection. Designed by Lego Ideas user BrickinNick, Gilmore Girls: Stars Hollow features the Gilmore household, the iconic bandstand, a Stars Hollow town sign and Luke’s Diner.
BrickinNick has thought of just about everything, including a full set of minifigures. There’s Lorelei, Rory, Luke Danes, Lane Kim, Emily Gilmore, Kirk, Taylor Doose and even the town’s Troubadour.
The interior details are incredible, too: while there are no images of the interior of Lorelei’s house, the diner is filled with all sorts of nice touches, such as a mug collection and a recreation of Luke’s ‘No Cell Phones’ sign. Outside, there’s a bench where residents can catch up with each other as well as a lamp post and a tree to add some additional detail.
Gilmore Girls: Stars Hollow has been initially designed as a winter village, and so a coating of white bricks adds a sheet of snow. But we all know that Stars Hollow is beautiful in any season, and in the description BrickinNick has noted that the set could easily be designated any season.
The set is halfway to meeting its ultimate goal of 10,000 votes of support. If it reaches that, it’ll get put in front of a panel of Lego judges, who’ll decide if it can be made into a real retail set or not. BrickinNick is no stranger to the process, having sets that have reached 10,000 votes before. And since there’s almost two years left for Gilmore Girls: Stars Hollow to reach its goal, we don’t think it’ll have any problem at all.
