Move over, Hogwarts: A new Lego castle is on the way, and it’s STUNNING
It’s out on 1st August, and we want it. Now.

Lego has just announced a new Architecture set: a 3,455-piece model of Neuschwanstein Castle is coming on 1st August, and it looks absolutely stunning.
If you’re not familiar with it, Neuschwanstein Castle is a real castle in the South of Germany. It’s an iconic building, and we reckon you’d recognise it. The 19th century palace can be found in Bavaria and while it was originally a house for Bavarian royalty, it’s now open to the public, with more than a million people passing through its doors annually.

But enough quoting from Wikipedia. Let’s get on with what we’re actually here for: the Lego Architecture 21062 Neuschwanstein Castle. Yes, its name may be a bit of a mouthful, and we pity anyone that has to ask at the Lego counter to see if it’s in store. But what a castle it is. It reminds us of Hogwarts Castle and Grounds, except this one is even bigger — and has the benefit of being a real place (sorry to break it to you like this, muggles).
Despite being micro-scale, this is still a big model. It’s made up of 3,455 pieces, and it’s 46cm wide, 31cm high and 20cm deep. You’ll need a rather big shelf or a good bit of desk space to put it on display, then.
There are lots of really neat details too — although it helps that the real Neuschwanstein Castle is so stunning. You’ll find spires, turrets, courtyards and gabled roofs, all making this model look absolutely stunning. The landscaping details are fantastic too, with lots of greenery and trees. It makes this set really stand out and pop with colour.
If you fancy owning your very own castle, pre-orders are open on Lego Architecture 21062 Neuschwanstein Castle now. It releases on 1st August, so you’ve got just over a month to wait. This is going to be a day one purchase for us, I think. Let us know what you reckon to this new Architecture set by leaving a comment below.
