It’s a good time to be a Lego and Formula 1 fan, with a host of new sets coming in 2025
No less than TWENTY F1-themed sets are coming next year.
If you’re a Formula 1 fan, you’re going to want to pay attention: last week, Lego revealed the fruits of its previously-teased relationship with F1. Those fruits? A bucketload of Lego sets, ranging from City, to Speed Champions, to Technic and even Duplo. Literally the whole family can get in on Lego Formula 1 fun. We’ve so far counted 20 new sets on the way, all launching at different points throughout the first half of 2025.
Of those 20, ten are Speed Champions: a full series representing every F1 team of the 2025 season. It’s the first time every team will have been represented in Lego form. There’s also a series of miniature Collectible Race Cars: think minifigures, but instead of actual characters, you’re getting micro F1 cars with heads. They’re cute, and you’ll find more details on them below.
Let’s dive into all the Lego F1 sets coming in 2025, shall we?
Lego Duplo
Lego Duplo 10445 F1 Team Race Cars & Drivers
- Age: 2+ years
- Price: £39.99
- Pieces: 70
- Available: 1st January 2025
What a great set for the littlest Lego lovers in our lives! This Duplo set contains all 10 colour schemes for each F1 team — although with three car bases, you’ll have to choose which ones to use. There’s also a winner’s podium, a trophy and a racing finish line.
Lego City
Lego City 60464 F1 Williams Racing & Haas F1 Race Cars
- Age: 4+ years
- Price: £17.99
- Pieces: 92
- Available: 1st January 2025
This set is perfect for young builders just graduating from Duplo. There are two mini-sized F1 cars, both with their own drivers. Since this is a 4+ set, the cars will have fixed bases and fewer smaller parts, making them easier to build.
Lego City 60474 F1 Grid with VCARB & Sauber Race Cars
- Age: 6+ years
- Price: £24.99
- Pieces: 313
- Available: 1st January 2025
These Lego City cars feel like a step behind Speed Champions: not quite as much detail, but still enough to be enjoyable to build. You’ll also get a starting line and a flag-waving minifigure.
Lego City 60442 F1 Driver with McLaren Race Car
- Age: 6+ years
- Price: £10.99
- Pieces: 86
- Available: 1st January 2025
This McLaren-branded race car makes a great little pocket money set. It’s a shame it’s a little more expensive than sets this size normally are (we’d expect £8.99), but part of that is likely the licensing fee. Still, it’s a fun little build.
Lego City 60443 F1 Pit Stop & Pit Crew with Ferrari Car
- Age: 6+ years
- Price: £24.99
- Pieces: 322
- Available: 1st January 2025
The Pit Stop & Pit Crew set is one of our favourites. Not just because it’s Ferrari branded (and who doesn’t love Ferrari?) but it’s more of a playset than some of the others, with a full pitstop setup, and five minifigures included. £25 feels like a bargain for this one.
Lego City 60444 F1 Garage & Mercedes-AMG & Alpine Cars
- Age: 7+ years
- Price: £69.99
- Pieces: 678
- Available: 1st January 2025
Here’s the second-biggest Lego City F1 set. It’s a fold-out Mercedes and Alpine garage, complete with everything you need to work on the two included cars (including a full crew, tools trolley and spare set of wheels). The garage folds up and can be carried like a case, which is particularly cool.
Lego City 60445 F1 Truck with RB20 & AMR24 F1 Cars
- Age: 8+ years
- Price: £89.99
- Pieces: 1,086
- Available: 1st January 2025
The most expensive Lego City F1 set is this rather impressive transport truck, with room in the back to store up to two F1 cars. We’re absolutely digging the decal on the side of the truck (although we’re not sure if it’s printed or if it’s stickers — fingers crossed for the former…).
Lego Speed Champions
The Lego Speed champions are all fairly similar — because that’s the nature of Speed Champions! More detailed than the F1 cars of the City range, these sets are great for kids and adult collectors alike. They’re still fairly easy builds, but offer much more realistic details.
Well, we say they are suitable for kids, but for the first time some of the Speed Champions F1 cars rated as 18+. Why? We can only assume it’s because of some of the sponsors included on the cars. Being more realistic models, there are sticker decals for each team’s sponsors, so those with sponsors not deemed suitable for kids — Visa and Red Bull seem to be the two most pertinent — have been labelled as 18+ sets.
Every set retails for £22.99, and they release on 1st March 2025. Pre-orders for all Speed Champions F1 sets are open now on Lego.com.

Lego Collectible F1 Race Cars
The Lego Collectible F1 Race Car series will launch on 1st May 2025 and, just like minifigures, they’ll come in blind boxes. They’ll retail for £3.49 each and there are 12 in total to collect, as seen in the image below.
While they’ll come in blind boxes, we expect you’ll be able to use a third-party app to scan each box and see what’s inside, just like you can do with current minifigure series.
Lego Icons
Lego Icons 10353 Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell
- Age: 18+ years
- Price: £69.99
- Pieces: 799
- Available: 1st March 2025
Nigel Mansell and his Williams F1 car are rather legendary now, and together they’re being immortalised in Lego bricks. The car is a faithful recreation, with all branding in place — and we absolutely love the Mansell minifigure, ‘tache and all. HE comes with a podium and a display placard.
Lego Technic
Lego Technic 42207 Ferrari SF-24 F1 Car
- Age: 18+ years
- Price: £199.99
- Pieces: 1,361
- Available: 1st March 2025
The biggest Lego F1 set to be announced is the Technic Ferrari SF-24. It’s built to a 1:8 scale, featuring realistic details, a full livery and since this is a Technic set, you get functions like working steering, a V6 engine and a two-speed gearbox.
