A new Lego set has just been added to the Lego website, and it has me very excited indeed. Lego Jurassic Park 76968 Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus Rex is an adult-focused set featuring a giant T-Rex skeleton. We’ve had whole T-Rexes before, and we’ve had plenty of fossilised sets, but none to this scale. It looks epic.
The set is made up of 3,145 pieces and is set to release on 15th March, although if you’re an Insider member you’ll be able to grab it from the 12th. It has a US price tag of $249.99, and in the UK will set us back £219.99.
The set also comes with a UCS-style plaque, along with two minifigures (Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant). This is a big set, so you’re going to need a lot of space to display it: it’s a whopping 105cm long and 33cm high.
