Lego announces seven One Piece sets, coming this August
Are you a fan of One Piece? Set sail with these Lego One Piece sets, based on the Netflix series.

Are you a fan of One Piece? Are you a fan of Netflix’s live-action One Piece? Then you’ll be over the moon to discover that there are seven Lego One Piece sets dropping this August, and you can pre-order them right now.
Why Netflix’s One Piece, versus the manga or the anime? Because Lego’s licensing agreement appears to specifically encompass the Netflix live-action series. Hence, the boxes bear the words “Netflix’s One Piece”. However they’re branded, these sets are seriously cool and should put a smile on the face of any One Piece enjoyer.
Aside from the five model sets, there are also two new Brickheadz. One is of captain Monkey D. Luffy himself and the other is Buggy the Clown. We’re surprised Lego hasn’t kept these as Gifts With Purchase but they’re being sold separately. You can find images of the five sets and two Brickhedz below.

The first set is the Lego One Piece The Going Merry Pirate Ship 75639 which, priced at £119.99, is made up of 1376 pieces and includes minifigures of Monkey D. Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji.
Next, there’s the Lego One Piece The Baratie Floating Restaurant 75640 which, at 3402 pieces and 14 inches high, dwarfs even Luffy’s own vessel. It comes with 10 minifigures, but is a lot pricier at £269.99. It’s also the only set that’s rated for builders aged 18+. All the others are for builders aged 8+ or 10+.
If you’re looking to recreate the show’s action, there’s the Battle at Arlong Park set (75638), priced at £74.99, and the Buggy the Clown’s Circus Tent (75637) set at £44.99. With 926 and 573 pieces respectively, there’s plenty of play potential there, such as the former’s collapsing pagoda feature.
Finally, there’s the wallet-friendly Windmill Village Hut (75636) at £24.99 and the the Luffy and Buggy Brickheadz at £9.99. If we had to choose a favourite, it’d be the Lego One Piece The Going Merry Pirate Ship. We’re particularly happy it’s the same price at the Lego Creator Pirate Ship.
All these sets are available from August 1st but you can pre-order them right now. Right now, there’s no mention of another wave, just these seven sets. But with a second season of Netflix’s One Piece on the way, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Luffy and friends sail again.
