A talented builder gives Lego’s Shadow the Hedgehog a body

Poor old Shadow just wants some body.

A Lego Shadow the Hedgehog 77000 set, but with a body built for Shadow the Hedgehog's head.

Lego’s Shadow the Hedgehog set is cool, there’s no denying that, but there’s something off about it. Specifically, the set just features Shadow’s head, looking for all the world like an oversized Pez dispenser. But now, one talented Lego builder has fixed that by turning Lego’s Shadow the Hedgehog set into a full figure, and it looks awesome.

The builder in question is hachiroku24, who’s no stranger to the Lego community. They’ve produced some utterly superb builds, including the moon from The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, the boat-wielding scene from Pacific Rim and many, many more. Lego even turned one of their Lego Ideas submissions into a real set, the Lego Insect Collection.

Their Lego Shadow the Hedgehog build is impressive, to say the least and, even better, they’ve detailed the process of building it, step by step, on their YouTube channel. So, provided you’ve got the parts, you can follow along and create your own super-gloomy Shadow the Hedgehog.

It’s a seriously impressive build, and it absolutely nails Shadow the Hedgehog’s appearance. We’re not 100% sold on that nose, which is Lego’s own work, but everything else is spot on.

“This is something that was in my mind since I saw the set,” hachiroku24 explains. We’d been thinking the same, though were split between imagining Shadow’s actual body, or some kind of Darth Maul robot legs-style arrangement. They also posted images of the set to Reddit where it was met with near-universal praise.

We’re absolutely blown away by how cool this set is and if there’s any justice in the world, Lego will contact them and start selling hachiroku24’s Shadow the Hedgehog body as an add-on for the set. You can follow hachiroku24 on YouTube and purchase Lego’s Pez-style Shadow the Hedgehog head here.
