Jabba’s Sail Barge is the next Lego Star Wars UCS, out in October
Early buyers will get a free Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber, too.
You better start saving up your credits, because Jabba’s Sail Barge is coming to Lego stores in just a few weeks — and unsurprisingly for a Ultimate Collectors’ Series set, it comes with a rather hefty price tag. Almost as hefty as Jabba himself.
Thankfully, Lego Star Wars 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge isn’t quite in UCS Millennium Falcon territory. At £429.99, it’s practically a bargain in comparison. But it’s still a very steep price tag that dwarves most other Lego sets.
You get a lot for your money, though. It’s a 3,942-piece set, and it comes with 10 minifigures — Princess Leia, Bib Fortuna, Max Rebo, Kithaba, Vizam, Wooof, Gamorrean Guarg, Salacious Crumb, C-3PO and R2-D2. There’s of course an oversized Jabba megafig too, which we reckon will be worth a substantial amount by itself.
Like all UCS sets, the Lego Star Wars Jabba’s Sail Barge comes with an informational plaque which has its own display stand. There’s also space for Jabba on the stand, along with a “Lego Star Wars 25th anniversary” brick.
Lego Star Wars Jabba’s Sail Barge — Take a closer look at some of the smaller details:
The sides of the ship fold down, revealing a fully-featured interior. Inside, you’ll find a cockpit, prison cell, armoury, kitchen and an “entertainment room” equipped with Jabba’s bed. Hey, if you’ve seen Return of the Jedi you don’t need us to spell it out for you. You’ll find plenty of accessories in here too — one of our favourites is the shelf that attaches to R2-D2, turning him into a bar. Poor guy.
Jabba’s Sail Barge will be available to purchase exclusively from Lego on 3rd October. Until 10th October (or until stock runs out), anyone who purchases it will receive Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber from Return of the Jedi as a gift with purchase. It’s an 145-piece set, complete with a display stand and small display plaque.

Will you be buying Jabba’s Sail Barge? That price is off-putting, but the ship itself looks fantastic!
