Lego is currently giving away this adorable Year of the Snake set
Sssssuch a good freebie.
We love a good gift with purchase, and this Year of the Snake set might be one of our favourites. It’s currently yours for free if you spend over £65 on anything in-store or online — but it’s only available until Monday 13th January, or until stocks run out. So act fast if you don’t want to miss out.
The ‘Year of’ sets are a yearly staple from Lego, but we don’t think we’ve ever seen a snake quite as adorable as this one. It’s made up of 174 pieces, sits on a nicely-constructed base and stands out thanks to its big, googly eyes and sticking-out tongue.
It’s important to note that Lego Year of the Snake (set number 40707) is only available as a gift with purchase. You won’t be able to buy it separately, not unless you pay over-the-odds on eBay or the like from a third-party seller. Lego reckons it has a value of £8.99, so bear that in mind if you do consider picking one up elsewhere.
We think it’s a good excuse to treat yourself to a new Lego set over the weekend, personally. £65 isn’t a huge amount to spend to get your hands on a good freebie — after all, Black Friday saw us spending over £225 to get the free record player, so this one feels like an absolute steal in comparison.
There’s of course the new modular, the gorgeous Tudor Corner, which will take you way over the £65 requirement, as will the excellent Diagon Alley, which we seriously have our eyes on. Closer to the requirement is the new Fountain Garden, or if you’re a Star Wars fan, how about the adorable Grogu with Hover Pram?
