The Upcoming LEGO 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons Set is Adorable
LEGO has just revealed another Disney 100 Years celebration set, and it might be the most adorable one yet. LEGO 43221 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons looks a little like a LEGO Art set, but one designed with younger builders in mind. It allows builders to create small icons of their favourite Disney characters, and display them in a grid.
The set allows you to build a frame which can display nine square tiles – but unlike most LEGO sets, this isn’t a set-in-stone design. The instruction booklet comes with 72 icons you can create, all based on different Disney characters. It’s entirely up to you, then, who you display in the frame – which can be hung up on a wall.

The LEGO 100 Years of Disney Animation Icons set has been designed in such a way that the squares are easy to swap out of a the frame. Maybe you want classic Mickey, Minnie and friends one week, then swap to modern Disney Princesses the next? It’s entirely up to you. Judging by the images, though, whoever you choose to display in your frame isn’t going to disappoint. These designs are simple but very eye-catching.
The set also comes with an exclusive Mickey Mouse minifigure, complete with a paintbrush and palette. It’s made up of 1,022 pieces, and comes with 12 base plates, so everything you need to make multiple Disney character icons.
