This Lego Ideas Twister set has blown us away

There are some seriously impressive submissions over on Lego Ideas, but this Lego Ideas Twister set really is something else. Based on the Twister movie, featuring the late Bill Paxton, it’s not just cool too look at, it boasts some seriously awesome action.
Created by builder ComicMischief, this Lego Ideas Twister set lets you make the tornado chase after Bill Paxton’s character, Bill Harding, as he and his fellow storm chasers races away in their truck. The set includes three mini figures, Bill Harding, Dr. Jo Harding, Dr. Melissa Reeves, plus a hapless cow that’s been picked up by the tornado.
If you missed out on watching Twisters, you’ve missed out on a treat. This 90s classic was a real riot and made an absolute fortune at the box office. It was recently followed by Twisters, a sequel which turned a profit but wasn’t nearly as much of a smash.
Minifigures aside, this set also includes the trio’s data-gathering gear. There’s no need for batteries either; pushing the long strip at the back will move the tornado menacingly closer. It’s not surprising it’s a current Lego Staff Pick and has racked up 2,300+ supporters in just a month.
