This up-scaled racing driver is going to be a treat for minifig fans
Good luck building a car to fit this racing driver…

Lego minifigures are iconic. There’s no disputing it. And what we really like is Lego’s growing trend of making buildable up-scaled minifigures. First there was Harry Potter and Hermione Granger, then there was a Pirate, exclusive to the Lego House. More recently a basic up-scaled minifigure was made available, and now there’s a another one on the horizon: an up-scaled racing driver.
Set for release on 1st March, Lego 40819 Up-Scaled Racing Driver Minifigure takes a typical racing driver minifigure and then supersizes it. For anyone that loves Lego minifigures it’s likely to be a must-buy, especially if they also enjoy Lego’s speed champions theme or are simply a fan of motorsports.

While we’d struggle to call it a play-thing, Lego 40819 Up-Scaled Racing Driver Minifigure has an age rating of just 10+. It doesn’t present bad value for money, either, being comprised of 694 pieces while carrying an asking price of just £46.99.
When built, Lego 40819 Up-Scaled Racing Driving Minifigure is just over 25cm tall. And alongside having a spinning head and movable hands, arms and legs, he sports Octan branding which is a nice touch. Apparently there’s even an easter egg hidden under the model’s red helmet, too.
