Lego unveils the massive Lego City The City Tower
It may not have the Lego Eiffel Tower’s height but this Lego City The City Tower looks much more fun.

Want a Lego City set that looks seriously imposing? Then the newly-revealed Lego City The City Tower 60473 is the model for you and it’s less than a month away from release.
Looking at this Lego City The City Tower set, you might be wondering what the heck is going on, but this made with play in mind, and it absolutely shows. It starts normally enough, with a ground level police station, train stop and fire station. But then you look further up and the wackiness increases.
The second floor has a construction tower and, on the other side, a skateboard ramp, which must be a health and safety nightmare. There’s an office window in the middle then, above that, a rocket launchpad, for beating the traffic. Going by the set’s Lego site listing, sections of the model can also be split off, for children to share. Here’s how the set measures up:

So when you can get your hands on this set? It’s available from June 1st, via Lego.com. Unlike some sets there’s no option to order early if you’re a Lego Insider, and there’s no pre-order option. But we’d be surprised if there wasn’t some kind of Gift With Purchase, since several other sets are also launching that day.
