These awesome Lego Dungeons and Dragons minifigures are out now
Lego Mind Flayers? It’s a brain-eating dream come true.
Want some dungeoneers to populate your Lego Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale set? Or maybe you’re just a serious DnD fan? Either way, you can get your hands on official Lego Dungeons and Dragons minifigures, and they’re out now.
The existence of these very, very cool minifigures was leaked way back at the beginning of the year but, several months after the Red Dragon’s Tale set appeared, they’re now gracing store shelves. They’re priced at £3.49 each, with 12 different figures to collect. Here are all the figures in this first wave:
- Tiefling Sorcerer
- Gith Warlock
- Dragonborn Paladin
- Dwarf Barbarian
- Szass Tam
- Strahd von Zarovich
- The Lady of Pain
- Elf Bard
- Mind Flayer
- Aarakocra Ranger
- Tasha the Witch Queen
- Halfling Druid
As cool as these are (we love the Mind Flayer figure especially), there is a catch. They’re in blind bags, or rather boxes, and you can’t request a full set, you’re given what you get. Also, if you’re planning on picking them up today, you might want to hold off on it. A lot of other Lego sets are dropping today and, according to Twitter, there are serious crowds at some Lego stores.
What you can do instead is head over to the Lego store and pick these Dungeons and Dragons figures up online. You’re limited to 24, which doesn’t guarantee you a full set. But Jay’s Brick Blog has a QR code scanner that should (we haven’t tested it on this line) tell you what’s inside each box without opening it. And if you’re up for an adventure, check out the official Lego DnD gamebook here.
