Lego officially announces its gorgeous Lego Icons Fountain Garden set
Coming this January 1st, this set kicks off Lego’s Gardens of the World range.
After images of the set leaked early this month, Lego has officially announced the Lego Icons 10359 Fountain Garden set, part of the Gardens of the World range. It looks absolutely gorgeous and, fountain aside, it’s adorned with all sorts of flowers and plants.
Lego hasn’t specified which country, if any, the Lego Icons Fountain Garden set is meant to represent, but the truth is that you can find fountain gardens in various countries; France, Italy, Spain and so on. But there’s an impressive amount of attention to detail, right down to the little water basin on the wall.

The set releases this January 1st (it’s not available for pre-order) and is 12 inches wide and made up of 1,302 pieces. It’s rated for builders aged 18 or over and seems mostly intended for display. There are no minifigures included, but they’d tower over the fountain, so their absence makes sense. However, the set does come with luna moth, bird and frog figures, so there’s some small play potential.
There’s also room to rearrange the garden, thanks to slots in the base, so while we’d expect the fountain to always be central, you should be able to shuffle around the other foliage. Officially, this is the first set to be labelled part of Lego’s Gardens of the World range, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the company relabelled its Tranquil Garden set to be part of the series.
