LEGO Ideas Spotlight: Wishing Well

We just love this Wishing Well, submitted to LEGO Ideas today. It’s so dainty yet so detailed, and we’re in awe with how realistic it looks.

The upload comes from Jimmi-DK. They’re a 10K Club Member, with their Knight Rider – KITT design making it to the approval stage but sadly not getting chosen. They’ve submitted many other excellent designs too, including this Pac-Man arcade cabinet and a super realistic-looking Sony Walkman.

But we’re drawn to the Wishing Well, as it’d make an excellent addition to anyone’s LEGO village.

It’s made up of 987 pieces, is 19.8cm tall and 12.8cm wide. So it’s fairly small, but manages to cram in lots of detail. We love the stone brickwork effect on the well itself, and the meticulously-placed tiles on the roof. The pots of flowers to the side are the perfect finishing touch.

Already with 50 supporters, Jimmi-JK’s Wishing Well needs another 50 supporters in the next 59 days to move onto the next milestone. It ultimately needs 10,000 suporters in order to be considered for creation by LEGO.
