Lego reveals four Fortnite Lego sets with the Battle Bus, Peely and more
This year’s must-scalp toys.
It was only a matter of time (and their existence was leaked earlier this week), but Lego has officially unveiled the four Lego Fortnite sets that will be dropping into stores.
Let’s face it, when Fortnite announced Lego Fortnite, its in-game Minecraft-style island, actual official Lego sets were an inevitability and now it’s happening. The sets aren’t arriving until October, but you can pre-order them now and it’s a good idea to do so.
Why? Because more so even than the Lego Super Mario World: Mario and Yoshi set, we can see these selling out. We want to be wrong, that Lego will have ample supplies of these sets on hand, but our gut feeling is these will be going for silly money on eBay this Christmas. Lego has limited pre-orders to five items but we doubt that’ll stop serious scalpers.
So which sets are on offer? There are four in total, as follows, from most to least expensive:
- Lego Fortnite Battle Bus – £89.99
- Lego Fortnite Peely Bone – £89.99
- Lego Fortnite Supply Llama – £34.99
- Lego Fortnite Durr Burger – £12.99
Of all sets, the Battle Bus is the most impressive, and going by the online reaction to it, Fortnite fans agree. At £89.99 it won’t break the bank yet this set, which is made up of 954 pieces, comes with ten minifigures and has absolutely screams play. If there’s one set which will delight Fortnite fans this Christmas, it’s this.
Three of the sets are rated for young builders but the exception is Peely Bone, which is rated for 18+. It appears that set is intended for display rather than play. All four sets are available to pre-order now from Lego, shipping from October 1st 2024.
