Are you going to be in central London on 1st April? If so, it might be worth paying a visit to LEGO’s flagship Leicester Square branch. To mark the launch of LEGO 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine, there’s a special themed event taking place at the store.
The highlight of the day is a real-life DeLorean – the car behind Back to the Future’s time machine – outside the store. Fans can get up close and person to the iconic vehicle, and sneak in a few photo opportunities.
Back to the Future will be the theme all day inside the store, where the film trilogy’s soundtrack will ring out over the sound system. There’s also an opportunity to create and star in your own Back to the Future movie posters, which can be printed out and taken home.
Finally, between 5 and 6pm, there’ll be a chance to meet Sven Franic, the designer of the LEGO Back to the Future Time Machine. He’ll be on hand to sign sets if you fancy the chance to own a rare piece of LEGO history.
Not anywhere near London? Don’t worry; you can still purchase the set. It’ll be available at LEGO.com and all LEGO stores from 1st April.
