Nine new Star Wars sets are launching this May
A force choke hold on your wallet.

May is always an expensive month for Lego Star Wars fans, thanks to the annual May the 4th event, and this year’s no different. No less than nine Lego Star Wars sets are launching this May, with one of them in particular being a threat to bank balances due to being an expensive Ultimate Collector’s Series set.
It could have been worse, though, as the UCS set we’re talking about is the already leaked Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship (image in the header), which has now been confirmed to have a retail price of £259.99. It’s expensive, then, but it’s far from the realms of the likes of the huge UCS Millennium Falcon. Officially, the UCS Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship launches 4th May, but Lego Insiders can purchase it from 1st May and also nab themselves a member’s only gift – a keyring.
Other Lego Star Wars sets launching 1st May include:
Revenge of the Sith – Heroes and Villains BrickHeadz set

- No. of pieces: 656
- Price: £44.99
This set of 5 BrickHeadz is going to be a must-have for Lego Star Wars fans – just who could resist these cute versions of Anakin Skywalker, General Grievous, Emperor Palpatine, Mace Windu and Padme Amidala? Not us, that’s for sure.
Luke Skywalker (Rebel Pilot) Brickheadz

- No. of pieces: 138
- Price: £9.99
Another Lego Star Wars treat for BrickHeadz fans in particular – a variant of Luke Skywalker in his Rebel Pilot outfit. We think this looks rather neat.
Rebel U-Wing Starfighter

- No. of pieces: 594
- Price: £59.99
If you’ve wanted to add a Rebel U-Wing Starfighter to your collection, here’s your chance. It comes with minifigs of Cassian Andor, Dedra Meero, K-250, and an ISB Tactical Agent.
Brick-Built Star Wars Logo

- No. of pieces: 700
- Price: £59.99
Display your love for the Star Wars franchise with this bold brick-built logo. It even has a hidden compartment, and thankfully it’s cheaper than the recent Marvel logo. That did include some minifigs, however. Pre-orders are open for the Star Wars Logo now.
Kylo Ren Helmet

- No. of pieces: 529
- Price: £59.99
The Lego Star Wars helmet range expands, this time with the helmet of Kylo Ren. Whether you’re a collector or just love Kylo Ren, chances are you’ll want to check this out. You can pre-order Kylo Ren Helmet now.
Chopper (C1-10P) Astromech Droid

- No. of pieces: 1,039
- Price: £94.99
Do you ever feel like R2-D2 is getting lonely just sat there on the shelf? This May, you can give him some company thanks to a brick-built Chopper. This is the second most expensive Lego Star Wars set of the month, after the UCS Jengo Fett’s Starship. Chopper is up for pre-order, too.
Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle

- No. of pieces: 386
- Price: £59.99
We like the look of this version of Kylo Ren’s Command Shuttle, but can’t help but feel like it’s overpriced. £59.99 for 386 pieces? Yeah, we’ll be waiting for a sale to pick this one up, we think.
Jango Fett Helmet

- No. of pieces: 616
- Price: £69.99
Another helmet. Still, if you’re picking up Jango Fett’s Firespray-Class Starship, you might want to pick up his helmet as well. What’s another £69.99, after all?
