A LEGO Technic McLaren Senna GTR is Coming in January

January 1st is going to be a busy day for us LEGO fans. There are new Chinese-inspired sets, Harry Potter sets and Super Mario sets. And now we can add a flash new LEGO Technic car to that line-up.

The LEGO Technic McLaren Senna GTR is the next model to be added to LEGO Technic’s ever-growing range of real-life car models. Our favourite thing about this one, though? Its price. At £44.99, it hits a perfect mid-range spot, for those looking for a sizable Technic build without wanting to pay £300+.

It’s a great-looking model, too. Made up of 830 pieces, it’s in a striking blue colour and packs in plenty of detail. It’s 12 inches long, and sports moving pistons and opening dihedral doors. Additional stickers give it a fitting racing car finish.

It’s the latest set that LEGO has released in partnership with car manufacturer McLaren, which started in 2015. We’ve had numerous McLaren Speed Champions sets, starting with the McLaren Mercedes Pit Stop in 2015, but this is the first Technic set of the brand. And what a fine-looking introduction it is.

The LEGO Technic McLaren Senna GTR will be available from 1st January, priced at £44.99. More pictures are available below.
