Every new Lego set out this October
It’s a very, very busy month.
Happy spooky month everyone! October has rolled in, and it’s brought a whole lot of new Lego sets with it. We’ve got two brand new ranges in the form of Wednesday and Fortnite, and plenty of new sets for both adults and kids alike. Mona Lisa! Super Mario! Star Wars! Batman! We’re spoiled for choice, to be honest.
Let’s just get on with it, shall we? Scroll on to see all the new Lego sets out in October. Let us know what sets you’re wanting to pick up this month by leaving us a comment below.
Lego Icons Santa’s Post Office
- Price: £89.99
- Number of pieces: 1,440
- Age rating: 18+
- Number of minifigures: 5
Lego’s Winter Village set of 2024 is now available, and it’s Santa’s Post Office. It’s not the first post office we’ve had in the range, but it’s by far the most eye-catching, thanks to its striking blue colour and the hot air balloon on the roof. It’s suitably festive, too, thanks to its elves, Christmas tree and snow-topped roof.
Lego 40746 Santa’s Delivery Truck
- Price: £17.99
- Number of pieces: 224
- Age rating: 8+
- Number of minifigures: 1
There’s something very old-school about this Elf’s Delivery Truck, but that’s possibly why we like it. It could be a Lego set from the 90s, but we think that design is purposeful. The car itself is quirky and colourful, and it comes with an elf minifigure, a little Christmas tree and lots of presents ready to be delivered.
Lego Fortnite 77073 Battle Bus
- Price: £89.99
- Number of pieces: 954
- Age rating: 10+
- Number of minifigures: 9
We think it’s probably the nine minifigures of the Battle Bus set that really make it. They’re all dressed in iconic Fortnite outfits, making this a real collector’s set. The bus itself does look rather nifty, too, granted. It’s a modified school bus, painted blue, with an air balloon stuck on top. What more could you want from a bus?
Lego Fortnite 77072 Peely Bone
- Price: £89.99
- Number of pieces: 1,414
- Age rating: 18+
The only Fortnite set (so far) to be aimed at adults is this rather excellent Peely Bone. Half banana, half skeleton (and… innards), it looks like a model you’d seen in science class at school. If little people lived inside banana skins, of course. It’s no slouch either, measuring 36cm in height. A fantastic display piece.
Lego Fortnite 77071 Supply Llama
- Price: £34.99
- Number of pieces: 691
- Age rating: 12+
Even if you’ve never played Fortnite before, we reckon you’d recognise the Fortnite Llama. This little dude is now available in Lego form, and we think it looks wonderful with its blue, pink and purple body. It’s a bargain, too, coming in at just £34.99.
Lego Fortnite 77070 Durr Burger
- Price: £12.99
- Number of pieces: 193
- Age rating: 9+
Last but not least is perhaps the most fun of all the Lego Fortnite sets — and the cheapest! At a pocket money-friendly price of £12.99, this little set allows you to create a burger with eyes and a big, sticking-out tongue. Even if you know nothing of Fortnite, it’s a fun little set for burger lovers everywhere.
Lego Star Wars 75397 Jabba’s Sail Barge
- Price: £429.99
- Number of pieces: 3,942
- Number of minifigures: 11
- Age rating: 18+
The next UCS Star Wars set is almost here, and we love it. Jabba’s Sail Barge is rather huge, measuring 77cm x 25cm, and it packs in 11 minifigures. It seems one of them has raised a bit of controversy with some, er, fans, but we don’t care: we think it’s excellent, and can’t wait to get our hands on it. You’ve got to wait until 3rd October if you’re an Insider, and 6th October if you’re not.
Lego 40755 Imperial Dropship vs Rebel Scout Speeder
- Price: £34.99
- Number of pieces: 383
- Number of minifigures: 7
- Age rating: 8+
This is quite a departure from the previous Lego Star Wars set. It features two small ships and six minifigures: three Stormtroopers and 3 Rebel Fleet Troopers. We can all agree, though, that the real star of the set is that pink droid. What a stud!
Lego Ideas 21352 Magic of Disney
- Price: £89.99
- Number of pieces: 1,103
- Number of minifigures: 4 (plus Simba, Flounder and Sebastian)
- Age rating: 18+
Magic of Disney is an absolute must-have for any Disney fan. With a buildable Mickey Mouse figure, it also features mini dioramas from Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Fantasia, The Little Mermaid, Pinocchio and Encanto. It’s also the very first time we’ve ever had a Belle minifigure — that alone is going to make this set a must-have for Disney lovers.
Lego Wednesday 76781 Wednesday & Enid’s Dorm Room
- Price: £79.99
- Number of pieces: 750
- Number of minifigures: 4 mini-dolls
- Age rating: 10+
The gothic features of Wednesday & Enid’s Dorm Room are just beautiful. We can’t get over that stained glass window — and the gargoyles really finish it off. The only thing that lets it down for us is its use of mini-dolls rather than minifigures. We’d have rather had the latter.
Lego Wednesday 76780 Wednesday Addams Figure
- Price: £44.99
- Number of pieces: 702
- Age rating: 10+
This buildable figure of Wednesday Addams can be dressed in two ways: One in a school uniform, and the other in a formal dress. Both black, of course. She’s stood on a podium with a Nevermore Academy sign, along with gravestones, candles and black flowers. Suitably gothic.
Lego BrickHeadz 40750 Wednesday & Enid
- Price: £17.99
- Number of pieces: 239
- Age rating: 10+
The third set in the Wednesday range is this pair of BrickHeadz, depicting Wednesday and her roommate Enid. Wednesday is, of course, suitably black, while Enid is pretty in pink.
Lego Batman 76328 The Classic TV Series Batmobile
- Price: £129.99
- Number of pieces: 1,822
- Age rating: 18+
Lego’s latest 18+ car is something really special. The Classic TV Series Batmobile looks seriously striking. We’ve had small versions of this car before, but it’s the first large-scale one we’ve had, and it might just be our favourite Batmobile of all time. We think it’s very well priced too: £130 for 1,822 pieces seems great. There’s only one problem: it’s been very popular, so it’s already temporarily sold out on Lego.com.
Lego Sonic 77000 Shadow the Hedgehog
- Price: £59.99
- Number of pieces: 720
- Age rating: 18+
We’re not sure if we like Shadow the Hedgehog or not. We do, simply because it’s Shadow the Hedgehog. But we just can’t quite get on board with the shape of his head and his nose. It’s just not quite… right. Still, we’re very much on board with more adult-focused Sonic the Hedgehog sets, and we hope there’s more to come.
Lego Icons 10370 Poinsettia
- Price: £44.99
- Number of pieces: 608
- Age rating: 18+
One of two new entries into the Botanicals range this October is the Poinsettia. A perfect Christmas plant, we think this looks absolutely wonderful. It comes in its own basket, so you don’t need to worry about finding a plant pot. From a distance you wouldn’t be able to tell it apart from the real thing.
Lego Icons 10340 Wreath
- Price: £89.99
- Number of pieces: 1,194
- Age rating: 18+
The second new Botanicals set is this gorgeous, realistic-looking wreath. It’s a huge step up from the previous Lego Wreath we had, with fruits, berries and cinnamon sticks making it look every bit as good as the real thing. Our only pause here is the price: it doesn’t come cheap.
Lego Art 31213 Mona Lisa
- Price: £89.99
- Number of pieces: 1,503
- Age rating: 18+
We’ve had mixed feelings about the Lego Mona Lisa since it was announced. It looks very striking, and the details here are just brilliant — particularly in the gold frame. But we’re still asking ourselves: would we actually want this on our wall? Would we want any replica of the Mona Lisa on our wall? We’re just not sure.
Lego Super Mario 71438 Mario & Yoshi
- Price: £114.99
- Number of pieces: 1,215
- Age rating: 18+
This latest Super Mario set, based on the SNES game Super Mario World, is something rather unique. It’s designed to look like a pixelated image of Mario on the back of Yoshi. Turning a handle will move Yoshi’s legs, making the pair look like they’re moving. Just don’t look at it from the back, where you can see all the Technic workings of the set.
