Some Lego Holiday 2024 sets have been revealed
Two Christmas sets and one Halloween set have been revealed by Lego, coming to stores on 1st September.
It may still be the summer, but that doesn’t mean Lego isn’t thinking ahead to the holidays. We’ve just spied a number of holiday sets on the Lego website, and it looks like we have some fun little builds to look forward to.
Of course, we haven’t had eyes on all of Lego’s holiday sets. We’re still waiting for a Winter Village set to be announced for this year, which we think will be revealed in the next few weeks. We have had eyes on a Christmas Ornament selection, however, and a very pretty Christmas Table Decoration. And for Halloween, there’s a very cute Halloween Barn to look forward to (and, of course, the Nightmare Before Christmas set, which is coming in September).
Let’s take a look at each new set, all of which are coming out on 1st September.
Lego Christmas Ornament Selection
- 153 pieces
- RRP £10.99
- Age 6+
We’ve had Lego Christmas ornaments before, but these ones might be our favourite. Looks like four are included in the set: Santa, a reindeer, a snowman and a gift. Each one comes with a new-style ring to make hanging them on your tree even easier. This will be a great set to build with younger children, we think, and there’ll even be scope to create your own designs on the base plate.
Lego Christmas Table Decoration
- 433 pieces
- RRP £39.99
- Age 12+
The Christmas Table Decoration is a little pricey at £39.99, but we think it looks absolutely beautiful. It’s a traditional centrepiece, showing a red candle surrounded by ferns and berries. The result is rather quite striking. Of course, this isn’t a real candle, but we love the little Lego flame on the top to give the impression that it’s a real one. We can picture eating our Christmas dinner with this in the middle of the table already.
Lego Halloween Barn
- 205 pieces
- RRP £12.99
- Age 8+
Last but not least is the Halloween Barn, a pocket-money set coming out just in time for the spookiest day of the year. It’s only a small set, but comes with a small price tag to match. The barn doesn’t have an interior, but it does have opening doors and windows — and it seems that opening them all up will reveal the eyes and teeth of a big monster. There’s also a skeleton minifigure and a bat to add to the spookiness.
