Here’s every Lego set out this September 2024
What set are you most looking forward to this month?
Can you believe it’s September already? We certainly can’t. 2024 is simply melting away, but here we are, in the last third of the year. And the start of September means one thing: Christmas products are beginning to appear. In the world of Lego, it’s no different: we now have advent calendars and some holiday sets available. But that’s not all: some big collector’s Lego sets are landing this September too.
It’s not the busiest month, but you certainly might want to pull your wallet out once or twice. Below, we’ve rounded up every Lego set out in September 2024. Let us know what sets, if any, you’ll be picking up this month by leaving a comment at the bottom of the article.

Lego Advent Calendars
- Number of pieces: 195 to 368
- Price: £19.99 to £29.99
- Age: 6+ and 7+
- Release date: 1st September
There are six Lego Advent Calendars out this year: City, Friends, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Disney and Spider-Man. The City and Friends come in at a cheaper £19.99 while the others will cost you £10 more — license fees and whatnot. Some of them are rather nifty though: the Lego Harry Potter Advent Calendar, for example, is designed so you can use its pieces to decorate the Great Hall set. Read more about all of them here.
Lego Ideas 21351 Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas
- Number of pieces: 2,193
- Price: £169.99
- Age: 18+
- Release date: 6th September (Insiders early access on 3rd September)
This is Halloween! The next Lego Ideas set is based on The Nightmare Before Christmas and, honestly, we can’t wait to get our hands on this one. There’s technically three parts to this: Jack Skellington’s house, Halloween Town city hall, and Spiral Hill. They can be displayed together or separated. Either way seems like a win to us. Of course, there are also Jack and Sally minifigures, along with Santa Clause, Lock, Shock and Barrel, the Mayor and Zero the dog. You can read more about it here.
Lego Harry Potter 76437 The Burrow – Collectors’ Edition
- Number of pieces: 2,405
- Price: £219.99
- Age: 18+
- Release date: 1st September
If you’re a Harry Potter fan, surely this Collectors’ Edition version of The Burrow is going to be an absolute must-have. It’s of course not the only version of The Burrow, the home of the Weasley family, that we’ve had, but it’s by far the biggest. It contains minifigures of the whole Weasley clan, and the internals of the house contain lots of neat features, such as a Floo Network fireplace, an enchanted kitchen sink and crooked furniture. You can read more about it here.
Lego 40743 Christmas Table Decoration
- Number of pieces: 433
- Price: £39.99
- Age: 12+
- Release date: 1st September
Why have a real candle centrepiece on the middle of your Christmas dinner table when you can have a Lego one? This candle obviously isn’t real, but it certainly looks the part. It’s decorated with ferns, berries, gold stars and more, and finished off with a red bow.
Lego 40744 Christmas Ornament Selection
- Number of pieces: 153
- Price: £10.99
- Age: 6+
- Release date: 1st September
This cute pocket money set lets you build four Christmas ornaments: one with a picture of Santa, one with a reindeer, one with a snowman and one with a gift. They come with hanging rings, so you can add them to your tree or, like in the image above, a Christmas garland somewhere else in the house. We think it makes a great set for kids to build together. You can read more about the Christmas Ornament Selection, and the Table Decoration featured above, here.
Lego 40721 Halloween Barn
- Number of pieces: 205
- Price: £12.99
- Age: 8+
- Release date: 1st September
If you want a new set for Halloween but don’t want to stump up for the Nightmare Before Christmas set, we’ve got just the thing. This creepy little barn is the perfect little build to celebrate the spooky season. The barn looks rather halloween-y anyway, but open its door and window and you’ll reveal giant monster parts. There’s also a skeleton minifigure and a bat to help set the scene.
