Be a good Faithful and vote for this Lego Ideas Traitors set

The fan designer has thought of everything.

Lego Ideas Traitors - Ardross Castle

Are you a Faithful, or are you a Traitor? It doesn’t really matter if Claudia has tapped you on the shoulder or not: either way, this Lego Ideas set based on BBC’s The Traitors is absolutely sublime. A four storey model of Ardross Castle, it comes with a range of rooms, a set of player minifigs and, of course, an all-important Claudia Winkleman minifigure (complete with epic fringe).

Honestly, even if you’re not a Traitors fan, this Ideas project, submitted by Enonwnn, is worth checking out for its architecture alone. If you’ve not seen it, The Traitors is filmed in a real castle in the Scottish Highlands — Ardross Castle. While Enonynn’s replica isn’t exactly to scale, it’s still huge, packing in eight rooms over four floors. It’s the amount of detail in each room that really brings the set to life, however.

There’s a library lined with bookshelves, a breakfast room complete with portrait gallery (and breakfast croissants, of course), a lounge with hidden access to the armoury, the round table room, a bedroom and two areas for tasks. There’s also a trebuchet that can be assembled, and various other props used for missions — including an ominous coffin. Enonwnn has thought of everything.

I’m very surprised that the set only has 651 votes of support so far. Thankfully, it’s got plenty of time to gather more: it needs to get to 1,000 votes in the next 154 days to move onto the next stage. Ultimately, it needs 10,000 votes altogether before it’ll be put in front of a Lego jury and assessed for its suitability to be made into a retail set.

So: whether you’re a Traitor or a Faithful, get voting. This is a fantastic set, and I’d absolutely love to see it come to fruition.
