LEGO 10294 Titanic is Available to Pre-order From Today

LEGO 10294 Titanic

If you want to bag yourself the longest LEGO set ever released, you can from today. Pre-orders for LEGO 10294 Titanic are open from today. Though although the original release date was set to be 8th November, pre-orders made now won’t ship until 29th November. It seems that, despite its astronomical price, this is proving to be a popular set.

LEGO Titanic is made up of 9,090 pieces, making it the second largest LEGO set ever released (beat only by the LEGO Art World Map, which doesn’t even use all of its pieces in construction). But at 135cm long, no other set comes close in sheer scale. This is a huge LEGO set.

Its price tag of £569.99 isn’t surprising, then. And in terms of value for money, the Titanic has it. It’s just an awful lot of money to spend on one set. But if you have the space to display it, few other LEGO sets will ever look this impressive on display.

Along with a fully detailed exterior, LEGO 10294 Titanic also includes some interior details, too. The ship is built in three parts, which all attach together – seems like a logical way to manage the colossal build. And at each of those cross-sections, you’ll be able to see some details of the ship; tiny cabins, the grand staircase, even the huge engines in the engine room.

Of course, it’s not minifigure scale (imagine how big it would be if it was?). So if you’re hoping to recreate some iconic Jack and Rose scenes from James Cameron’s 1997 movie, you’re out of luck.

The set comes with a buildable display stand and a ‘Titanic’ name plaque for display purposes.

Head on over to the LEGO website to place your pre-order. It’s an exclusive set, so you won’t be able to purchase it from anywhere else.
