LEGO Dots Have Entered Animal Crossing: New Horizons

LEGO Dots Animal Crossing

Do you play Animal Crossing: New Horizons? You can now decorate your island with various LEGO Dots patterns.

LEGO has teamed up with Nintendo to introduce a range of LEGO Dots patterns into Animal Crossing: New Horizons. There’s a range of patterns available that can be used on flooring, wallpaper and canvas art. Give your Animal Crossing house a bit of LEGO flavouring!

There are a total of 17 Dots patterns available, which can be arranged in a limitless number of patterns. Just like LEGO in real life, the patterns allow users to create their own designs.

To get started, you’ll need to add the patterns to the game using the QR codes here: https://www.lego.com/dots-animalcrossing.

To use the QR codes, you’ll need the Nintendo Switch Online app. From there, you’ll need to set up a ‘NookLink’ between your phone and your Switch. Once it’s set up, you can scan a QR code with your phone and it’ll become available in-game. To grab it, open up the custom designs app on your in-game phone, then press ‘+’ to download one of the patterns you scanned to your real life phone. Phew.

It’s a cool partnership, and we’re always happy to see LEGO in more places – especially in our favourite videogames. Now, to go make our island homes a bit prettier…

More information about the partnership is available here.

Hi, I'm Kim, the creator of ThatBrickSite.com. I loved Lego as a kid, but didn't get back into the plastic bricks until my late 20s. In the last several years that love has become an obsession, and Lego has taken over my house, and my life! When I'm not building Lego, I'm likely to be playing video games or writing about them: I'm also the co-owner of GameSpew.com.
