LEGO Unveils Huge Ghostbusters Ecto-1, Coming on 15th November

Ghostbusters, of course! The iconic Ghostbusters vehicle, Ecto-1, is getting the LEGO treatment for the third time – but this time it’s a huge Expert-level set. LEGO 10274 Ghostbusters Ecto-1 looks incredible, and we can’t wait to get our hands on this bad boy.
An 18+ labelled set, Ecto-1 is made up of 2,352 pieces. That makes it significantly larger than the likes of the Creator Expert Ford Mustang, which is only 1,471 pieces in comparison. It’s 47cm long (a whole 14cm longer than the Mustang), 22.5cm high and 16.5cm wide.
So it may not be quite the same scale as LEGO’s other large vehicles, but it means more detail has been packed in. Of course, there’s a lot more going on in the Ecto-1 thanks to its, er, ‘specialist’ equipment atop the car. There are lots of nifty details, like a moving Ghost Sniffer activated by turning the wheels (which have working steering). There’s also an extendable rear gunner seat, and bricks printed with the Ghostbusters logo (hooray!).
Arriving on 15th November, it will retail at £179.99. It’s a LEGO exclusive, so you’ll only find this on LEGO.com or inside LEGO retail stores.
