Black Friday and all the online sales that go with it are just around the corner. In preparation, LEGO has laid out its VIP Weekend offerings, which will take place this coming weekend, 20th to 21st November.
While we’re yet to find out what items (if any) LEGO will be putting on sale, we now know what free gifts and special offers will be available to VIP members. You can see LEGO’s full Black Friday VIP Weekend offers here, or read on for our round-up of what to expect.
Firstly, all purchases made on Saturday 20th or Sunday 21st November will earn double VIP points. That means you’ll get around 10% of your purchase price back in points rather than the standard 5%. If you’ve been holding off buying a big set, then, now’s the time.
There are also two free gifts up for grabs for VIP members. If you spend over £250, you’ll get a collectible retro ‘LEGO’ tin sign. It’s not made of LEGO, of course, but it’s a neat curio for LEGO collectors. Spending over £170 will get you a ‘Santa’s Front Yard’ set, which shows a diorama of an elf feeding a reindeer. So, spend £250 and you’ll get both of those free gifts.
The VIP Reward Center will also be getting some offers of its own. Rewards will be going on sale, with discounts being added to existing rewards. Exactly what those discounts are we don’t yet know; remember to log in on 20th November to see what offers are available.
One new reward will be added too: a buildable Vintage Camera can be redeemed for 2,000 VIP points. And a new sweepstake will launch, with the prize being a 55cm Bonsai Tree.
If you’re not yet a VIP member, it’s free to sign up. Simply head to the VIP Rewards Center and input your details. You’ll start earning points on purchases from LEGO.com and in-store at LEGO branches right away.
Remember, these offers are only available this weekend, Saturday 20th November and Sunday 21st November. Free gift supplies may run out, too, so if you’re interested in grabbing the tin sign, the Santa’s Front Yard set or the Vintage Camera, we recommend logging in as close to midnight on Saturday as possible.
