Enter the LEGO VIP Sweepstakes to Win a Rare Venom Minifigure
In recent months, LEGO has diversified the way that VIP members can spend their points. Along with exchanging them for store credit, you can use them to buy exclusive items, experiences, and enter sweepstakes. The sweepstakes typically allow you to be in with a chance of obtaining super-rare items, like signed sets or minifigures that were only available at Comic-Con.
The current VIP is the latter: a LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Venom Minifigure that was only available at Comic-Con 2012. One recently sold on eBay for $550, but the one you could win comes in a display case, sealed with an authenticity sticker.
Each VIP member can enter up to 50 times, with an entry costing 50 VIP points. There’s only one minifigure to be won though, but if you’re feeling lucky, it’s worth an entry. For reference, 50 VIP points is worth about 31p – if our questionable maths is correct – so bear that in mind before you fritter all your points away.
