LEGO Ideas Seinfeld Will Be Available on 1st August
As we guessed earlier this morning, LEGO has officially revealed the upcoming LEGO Ideas Seinfeld set. It’ll be available from 1st August, and it’s priced at £69.99.
Needless to say, if you’re a Seinfeld fan, this is going to be a set worth adding to your collection. Like the Friends Central Perk and Apartments sets, this is designed as a film set, complete with studio lights. Along with the apartment, there’s a small stand-up stage for Jerry – the iconic framing of the show.
Inside the apartment, you’ll find a lot of nicely-crafted details. There’s a seating area, complete with sofa, armchair and coffee table, some shelving units, and a full kitchen, complete with fridge, microwave and oven.
There are also hidden easter eggs throughout the set, that fans of Seinfeld will get a kick out of. Remember the painting of Uncle Leo? The Prognosis Negative videotape? The Festivus pole? They’re all here.
The set includes five minifigures: Jerry Seinfeld, George Costanza, Cosmo Kramer, Elaine Benes and Newman. We’re loving the hairstyles.
This isn’t as big as The Friends Apartments, which released last month. But there’s just as much detail here, squeezed into a smaller area. It’s made up of 1,326 pieces – which, with a price tag of £69.99, feels like excellent value to us.
