Prepare your wallets, because Lego has just revealed its Insiders Weekend deals
Rather than going big on Black Friday, Lego tends to have a special members-only blowout the week before. This year is no different. With VIP changing its name to Insiders, this year it’s the Insiders Weekend. And there are free gifts, discounts, double points and special prizes galore. It kicks off this weekend, Friday 17th November, and it’s not to be missed.
Let’s get straight into it, shall we?
Insiders Weekend discounts
Lego has revealed the sets that will be getting discounted during Insiders Weekend. Like last year, you’ll need to use your Insiders Points to redeem a discount code to get these offers. We don’t know exactly how many points the discounts will cost, but if it’s anything like last year it’ll be a nominal amount.
These discounts kick off on Friday 17th November.

- £50 off Lego Star Wars Republic Gunship
- £32 off Lego Ideas Medieval Blacksmith
- £35 off Lego Technic John Deere Skidder
- £30 off Lego Icons Ford Mustang
- £20 off Lego Creator Expert NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander
- £20 off Lego Ideas Winnie the Pooh
- £50 off Lego Star Wars Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder
- £35 off Lego City Freight Train
- £20 off Lego Icons Tranquil Garden
- £60 off Lego Ninjago City Gardens
- £35 off Lego Marvel Captain America’s Shield
- £45 off Lego Technic BMW 1000 RR
- £25 off Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets
We anticipate that some of these sets will be close to retirement, so the sale will be a good time to pick them up. Assembly Square, Medieval Blacksmith, Ford Mustang, Ninjago City Gardens and the Lunar Lander are all almost certainly nearing the end of their lifespans.
Lego Insiders Weekend Free Gifts
There are four free gifts up for grabs during the Insiders Weekend: Majisto’s Magical Workshop, Winter Market Stall, Christmas Cookie Stamps and Mug set and a Winter Holiday Train gift.
All free gifts are available between 18th and 19th November.
The two main free gifts, pictured above, are Majisto’s Magical Workshop and Winter Market Stall.
You’ll need to spend more than £220 to get Majisto’s Magical Workshop, which is a remake of a classic Lego set. It’s made up of 365 pieces and comes with two minifigures.
The Winter Market Stall requires a spend of £150 or more. It has 271 pieces and comes with two minifigures. Of course, spending more than £220 during the Insiders Weekend will get you both of these free gifts.
That’s not all: if you’re shopping online and spend more than £60 on City, Duplo, Friends, Dreamzzz, Harry Potter or Ninjago sets you’ll get a set of Christmas cookie cutters and a matching mug. Alternatively, if you’re shopping in store, a spend of £35 or more on those same ranges will get you a small Winter Holiday Train polybag.
Double Insiders Points
Between 18th and 19th November, you’ll also earn double Insiders Points on all purchases. That means instead of earning £5 in points for every £100 spent, you’ll earn £10. That’s 10% of your purchase back in points.
Lego Insiders Rewards
From 18th November, the Lego Insiders Weekend will also be bringing special rewards to the Rewards Center. Every day between 18th and 27th November, you’ll have the chance to enter a prize draw to win 1,000,000 Insiders Points.
There’ll be a brick-built Cassette Player up for grabs from 18th November, costing 2,400 points to redeem, and a Christmas tree ornament costing 1,800 points. Other popular rewards will also be reduced by 50% between 18th and 27th November, so it’s certainly worth checking into the Rewards Center from this weekend.
