Spend £170 on Lego and get this retro food truck absolutely free

Lego Retro Food Truck box

Whether you’re buying for yourself or someone else, Lego’s latest freebie is a must for fans of retro. No, it’s not a Lego Qbert model, though we’d pay good money for that. Instead, Lego is offering a free Retro Food Truck with a sufficiently large purchase.

Provided that you spend over £170 / $190, you’ll get this awesome little set, which looks like it’s rolled right out of the 50s. Sure, you can buy this Lego Burger Truck, but it’s not as charming as the Lego Icons Retro Food Truck, with its classic red and white awning and vintage sign.

The set comes with two minifigures, a customer and the food truck owner, and is made up of 310 pieces. Like most Lego Icons sets, it’s for builders over 18+ though we suspect younger builders will be able to handle making this.

And, while it’s not confirmed on-site, it looks as if the awning hinges, letting you ‘close’ the truck and drive it off to pastures new. All it needs is a surfboard leaning against it and you could imagine this pulling up at the beach.

The offer runs until January 16th, or until stocks run out. And yes, that does happen, as we discovered when we tried to grab last Christmas’s Lego freebies before the offer ran out. Despite being within date, the offers were gone. We’re not bitter. Much.

Head over to Lego’s site to get your hands on this great little free Lego Icons Retro Food Truck, just make sure you hit the £170 / $190 in one basket because multiple transactions won’t count. And enjoy!
