The best new Lego sets out this March

Lego Sets out this March

It’s March 1st, and as usual a large number of new Lego sets have become available. Of course, many may not be of much interest to you, but there’s bound to be something that catches your eye.

In any case, we’ve put together a list of what we believe to be the best new Lego sets launching this March, hopefully making it easier for you to keep tabs on what will soon be available. Some of the sets here are pretty costly, meant for adults to display. But some are much more affordable and *gasp* suitable for the young ones to play with. So, take a look to see what sets might tempt you to part with your cash this March.

Lego 43242 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ Cottage

Snow White Cottage 1 (1)

Lego 10332 Medieval Town Square

Lego Medieval Town Square

Based on the classic Lego Castle set – Medieval Market village – Medieval Town Square is a welcome blast from the past. Including a workshop, inn, farmhouse, watchtower, and more, this is a substantial set that suitable for display or play. We reckon it would great alongside Lego 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle, and that’s probably the idea.

Lego Harry Potter 40677 Prisoner of Azkaban BrickHeadz

Whether you’re a collector of BrickHeadz or simply love all things Harry Potter, you’ll definitely want to pick up Lego 40677 Prisoner of Azkaban Figures. Lego 75375 Millennium Falcon

There have been many Lego Millennium Falcons over the years, but this latest one, designed to celebrate 25 years of Lego Star Wars is very appealing to us. Made for display, this mid-scale ship comes complete with a stand, nameplate and Lego Star Wars 25th anniversary brick. Even better, while it looks great, it doesn’t costs hundreds of pounds or take up considerable space in your house. There’s also a Tantive IV and an Invisible Hand released this month, too. More of these, please, Lego.

Lego 76429 Talking Sorting Hat

Lego Harry Potter 76429 Talking Sorting Hat

Another must-have set releasing this March for Harry Potter fans is Lego 76429 Talking Sorting Hat. Want to know whether you belong in house Gryffindor or house Slytherin? This hat might help you find out. Simply put it on your head or tip the top of the hat, and the included sound brick will unleash one of 31 randomised sounds, perhaps surprising you with its wisdom. It should probe to be amusing at least, and it includes a stand to store the hat on when not in use.

Lego 31154 Forest Animals: Red Fox

Lego Forest Animals Red Fox 31154 (1)

We love foxes, and so we can’t wait to welcome a red fox into our home via Lego 34454 Forest Animals: Red Fox. Being a Creator 3-in-1 set, however, we don’t necessarily have to build a red fox. At least not first, anyhow. With the parts included you can also build an owl or a squirrel, both with posable parts and accessories. The red fox is the star here, though; just look at it.

Lego 42179 Planet Earth and Moon in Orbit

Both educational and an interesting display piece, Lego 42179 Planet Earth and Moon in Orbit allows you to see how the Moon orbits around the Earth while the Earth orbits around the Sun. Being part of the Technic range it’ll offer a fairly interesting and complex build. But once it’s done it’ll do doubt prove to be rewarding as it springs to life when you move the crank.

Lego 77049 Isabelle’s House Visit

Lego Animal Crossing 77049 Isabelle's House Visit

Love Nintendo’s Animal Crossing? We hope you’ve got plenty of money to waste this March, as Lego’s Animal Crossing range finally becomes available. Our pick of the bunch is Lego 77049 Isabelle’s House Visit, which not only includes adorable minifigs of both Isabelle and Fauna, but also a wonderful house which you can make your own. We have the feeling that once you’ve bought one Animal Crossing set, however, you’ll want them all.
