You read that right: a reality TV show is getting its own LEGO set. Netflix’s Queer Eye, to be precise; a show about five gay professionals who give makeovers to their guests. Yes, it may be the most bizarre LEGO crossover we’ve ever had, but it’s also exciting to see just how far and wide LEGO is reaching these days. And if you’re a fan of Queer Eye, then this is a set you’re going to love.
LEGO 10291 Queer Eye – The Fab 5 Loft is a cutaway apartment, much like The Friends Apartments or the more recent Seinfeld set. This isn’t designed to look like a studio, though; there are no lights here. Perhaps that’s simply because Queer Eye is a reality show rather than a sitcom.
The set comes with seven minifigures: the main cast made up of Tan, Jonathan, Bobby, Karamo and Antoni, and then two minifigures of Kathi Dooley, showing a before-and-after makeover.
The apartment itself is packed with details. There’s a kitchen, complete with fancy coffee machine and hob top, a seating area, and of course several stylish pieces of art (including a “YAAAAS QUEEN” poster. Because of course). It’s made up of 974 pieces in total.
LEGO Queer Eye – The Fab 5 Loft is releasing on 1st October priced at £89.99. You can see more images below. Will you be buying this one? Let us know in the comments.
