Mos Eisley Cantina, the Next Big LEGO Star Wars Set, Has Leaked

Mos Eisley Cantina

Earlier this week, LEGO’s official South Korean Facebook page let the porg out of the bag a little earlier than it should: a wild image of LEGO 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina was spotted. Although the set has long been rumoured, it’s not been officially announced.

The set, branded in LEGO’s new ’18+’ packaging, is marked as part of the Master Builder Series; the same range that 2018’s Betrayal at Cloud City set appeared in.

LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina contains 21 minifigures, and according to Brickset, they include: Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, two Imperial Sandtroopers, Garindan, Wuher, Greedo, Ponda Baba, Conelius Evazan, three Modal Nodes, Momaw Nadon, Kabe, Kadue’sai’Malloc and Jawa.

From the image, we know the set is 3,187 pieces. That makes it slightly larger than Betrayal at Cloud City, which retailed for £299.99. As such, it’s likely that Mos Eisley Cantina will be the same price, or perhaps £20-£30 more.

According to the South Korean listing, the set is set to release on 16th September – less than two weeks away. So we won’t have to wait too much longer to get confirmation on price.

We really love the look of this set though; the pictures so far don’t give too much away but it appears to be very detailed both inside and out. And of course, the whopping 21 minifigures are very welcome too.
