LEGO Announces ‘Everyone is Awesome’ Set to Celebrate Diversity

LEGO Everyone is Awesome

Releasing on 1st June to celebrate Pride Month, LEGO has just revealed ‘Everyone is Awesome’. It’s a beautifully colourful set that celebrates the diversity of LEGO fans around the world.

The model is made up of 346 pieces and 11 different colours. A solid rainbow background gives way to 11 monochrome minifigures, each with their own colour and individual style. It’s a striking set, and one that boasts an important message.

It’s been designed by Matthew Ashton, LEGO’s Vice President of Design – and if you watched the UK version of LEGO Masters, you’ll recognise him as one of the experts. On creating the set, Ashton said, “I wanted to create a model that symbolises inclusivity and celebrates everyone, no matter how they identify or who they love. Everyone is unique, and with a little more love, acceptance and understanding in the world, we can all feel more free to be our true awesome selves!”

LEGO Everyone is Awesome joins the overwhelming line-up of sets launching on 1st June. (You can see our round-up of the best June releases so far by clicking here!) It has an RRP of $34.99, so will likely be somewhere between £29.99 and £34.99 in the UK. More pictures are below.
