New LEGO BrickHeadz Pets Are Available From Today

LEGO Brickheadz Pets Goldfish

Following the release of the BrickHeadz Shorthair Cats and German Shepherd in January, LEGO has added two new sets to the collection. BrickHeadz Budgie and Goldfish are available from today.

It’s nice to see animals that aren’t cats or dogs falling under the ‘pets’ umbrella. Many people do have smaller pets, so why shouldn’t we be able to have brick-built representations of them too? Like the others in the Pets range, both Budgie and Goldfish come in a pair, with a larger animal accompanied by its offspring.

The Budgie is brightly-coloured, with a large green and yellow budgie alongside its smaller, unfeathered chick. Both stand on their own perch, placed in a larger stand. The set is made up of 261 pieces altogether.

The Goldfish, on the other hand, is instantly eyecatching thanks to its bright orange colour. Clear bricks are used to rest the fish on, to give the impression that they’re swimming. They sit upon a blue base to represent their aquarium. We must say, their little fishy faces are so cute! There’s 186 pieces in this set.

Both retail for £13.49 and are available now from the LEGO store.
