A Huge LEGO Technic Cat Bulldozer is Releasing on 1st October

But it’ll cost an eye-watering £419.99

We better prepare to update our list of most expensive LEGO sets of all time, because a new set is bulldozing its way into stores on 1st October. It’s the LEGO Technic 42131 App-Controlled Cat D11 Bulldozer, with an epic pricetag of £419.99. It’s set to knock the Liebherr R 9800 out of its top spot of most expensive LEGO Technic set.

But with an epic pricetag comes an epic model. The Cat D11 Bulldozer is a replica of the real thing, complete with tank-like tracks, a huge scoop and many moving parts. It’s made up of 3,854 pieces and when finished, the model will be 57cm long, 37cm wide and 26cm high. It’s a beast, in other words.

The app-powered Control functions allow the vehicle to steer and move. You can also “raise, lower and tilt the blade, and raise and lower the ripper and the ladder”. I’m hoping you know what a blade and ripper is, because I have no idea.

Regardless, this is one heck of an impressive-looking model. If huge industrial vehicles are your particular niche, then this is one you’re going to want in your collection. Read more information about it on LEGO’s website, and see some more pictures below. It’ll be out on 1st October.
