Not since the LEGO Vikings range was discontinued many moons ago have we see a Viking longship made out of LEGO. Until now. This one, a tie-in to the upcoming Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder movie, may be small, but it looks fantastic – and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
LEGO Marvel 76208 The Goat Boat is made up of 564 pieces. The main focal point is, of course, the Viking longship itself, complete with a carved heard, small internal section and a selection of shields adorning the side. The cabin’s roof lifts off, allowing access to the interior, where you’ll find a bunch of accessories suitable for play.
What’s impressive for a set of this size and price point is the included minifigures. Five named minifigs come with the set: Mighty Thor, Thor, Valkyrie, Korg and Gorr. Each one has a host of accessories and weapons to adorn them with.
Of course, it’s not a huge longship – but as the only LEGO longship we’re likely to get our hands on any time soon, we’ll take it. That said, its dimensions are rather impressive for a £44.99 playset; LEGO 76208 The Goat Boat is 43cm long, 10cm high and 12cm wide.
We’ll have more on The Goat Boat closer to release. It’s set to launch in stores on 26th April. You can read more about it on LEGO’s website.
