The New LEGO Razor Crest is Absolutely Massive
But we still want it!
LEGO has unveiled a brand new Star Wars UCS set: the Razor Crest. The second model to be made of The Mandalorian’s signature ship, this is an absolutely huge model that’s going to require a lot of display space. And a lot of cash in your wallet.
LEGO Star Wars 75331 Razor Crest Ultimate Collector Series measures a whopping 72cm x 50cm x 24cm, and it’s made up of 6,187 pieces. Phew. That makes it the third largest Star Wars set ever released (sitting behind the UCS Millennium Falcon and AT-AT respectively).
Its price? A little less than you might expect given its size (and the price of other UCS sets of that size) – but still eye-watering nonetheless. It’s going to retail for £519.99/$599.99. Hardly pocket changing, but given the new RRP of the of the Millennium Falcon and AT-AT now being £734.99 (!!), it’s a surprising (and welcome) price point.
Now, onto details of the set itself. You’ll of course recognise the Razor Crest if you’ve seen Disney+’s The Mandalorian. It’s the ship of Din Djarin, the protagonist of the series, and caretaker of everyone’s favourite Grogu (aka Baby Yoda). It features removable engines and cockpit, an escape pod, and a carbon-freezing chamber big enough to house a minifigure. As you’d expect from a UCS set, there’s also a display stand and an information plaque.
The four minifigures included are The Mandolorian, Grogu, Mythrol and Kuiil (and a buildable Blurrg).
You can get your hands on LEGO Star Wars 75331 The Razor Crest from 3rd October if you’re a LEGO VIP member. Otherwise you’ll have to wait until 7th October.
