Every LEGO Set Launching in September 2022
It’s nearly September, a brand new month. And in the world of LEGO, that only means one thing: a wealth of new sets coming to stores.
Excitingly, it’s the time when Christmas sets and advent calendars become available. So if you’re organised enough to be getting into the festive spirit already, you might want to pop down to your nearest LEGO retailer later this week.
So, without further ado: here’s every LEGO set that’s releasing on 1st September. Enjoy.
LEGO Ideas 21335 Motorised Lighthouse

The next LEGO Ideas set is almost upon us: the Motorised Lighthouse. As its name suggests, it features a motor which turns the lighthouse bulb around, just like the real thing. You can read more about it here.
LEGO Harry Potter 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition

Here’s one for die-hard Harry Potter fans. A huge, detailed model of the Hogwarts Express, and a cutaway of Platform 9 3/4. One of the most impressive things about this set is the number of minifigures included: there’s 20, covering various eras of the Harry Potter series. Read more about it here.

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree! What’s particularly cool about this LEGO festive build is that you can build one large tree – 30cm tall – or two smaller trees (23cm and 16cm tall). We might buy two sets and build all three.

LEGO Marvel 76226 Spider-Man Figure

The first of three buildable figures is Spider-Man. It comes with posable arms and legs as well as a head that can be tilted. It makes a great alternative to a traditional action figure.

Venom is the next buildable figure in tow. Again, he’s got posable limbs, and a slightly different shaped head to allow for his massive mouth and tongue. This one looks rather cool, actually.

To accompany Spider-Man, here’s Miles Morales. He’s very similar to the original Spider-Man, but comes in red and black colours rather than blue and red. Again, he’s got posable limbs and fingers.

Featuring Darth Vader, C-3PO and R2-D2 all in holiday sweaters, the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2022 will undoubtedly be just as sought after as ever. Mini-builds include Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder, a Starfighter, the Bad Batch Shuttle and more.

Perhaps our favourite inclusion in 2022’s Friends Advent Calendar is the reindeer. It’s so cute! Other mini builds include a snowman, a throne, a Christmas tree, and numerous event stalls.

The minifigures included in LEGO City Advent Calendar 2022 are wonderful. As you’d expect, there’s a Santa Claus, but there’s also a bell boy, a shopkeeper, a blue-haired ice-skated and two children. They’re all brilliant – and in fact, based on characters from the LEGO City Adventures TV series, if you’re familiar. Other builds include a piano, a Christmas tree, a rocking horse and more.

The Harry Potter Advent Calendar of 2022 is certainly winning in the minifigure stakes. Theere are seven included here, each with their own display base. There’s Harry, Moaning Myrtle, Sirius Black, Voldemort, Horace Slughorn, Nymphadora Tonks and Neville Longbottom. The are three builds from each movie, creating mini scenes that unfold each day.
LEGO Marvel 76231 Guardians of the Galaxy Advent Calendar

We have no additional details to go off with the Guardians of the Galaxy advent calendar, other than what’s on the box. And so we know it includes minifigures of Star-Lord, Groot, Rocket and Mantis. There’ll possibly be some more in there too. Tying into Disney+’s Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, we’re excited to see more about this one.
