Lego has unveiled its latest Star Wars starship, the Lego Star Wars Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser 75367, arriving in October. But don’t be fooled by calling it a ‘cruiser’, at over a metre long, this set is absolutely enormous.
Featured in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and various spin-off media, the Venator Republic Attack Cruiser is the Clone Wars version of the Star Destroyer. And if, like us, you’re a Clone Wars fan, you’ll love how amazingly detailed this set is.
It’s not the first time this undeniably badass vessel has been the subject of a Lego set. There was another set, 8309, that featured it, as well as a smaller bagged set. The former has since been retired though you can still check it out here. It’s not half half the size of this new model, either.
So just how big is this new set? It’s 43 inches long, 109 cm and it’s made up of 5374 pieces, rated for builders aged 18 or over. And the price tag? It’s a weighty £559.99, available from the Lego Store from October 5th. Or if you’re a Lego Insider (formerly Lego VIP) you can get it from October 1st.
Admittedly, when we asked Lego to revisit the Star Wars Venator Cruiser in our Super Star Destroyer review, we were hoping for something similar to that set’s scale. But if you’ve got the room and the cash there’s no denying how awesome the set is
