LEGO is Launching a New ‘Postcard’ Range in January 2022

LEGO 40519 New York Postcard

Alongside LEGO’s humongous collection of new sets coming out on 1st January 2022, two sets of a brand new concept are launching: Postcards. We say ‘concept’ because these don’t have their own branding – they’re part of the Creator range. But we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw more of these.

They’re small builds representing a particular city – similar to Architecture skylines in concept, but much more simple, and designed to resemble an actual postcard. We really like the look of them and can’t wait to get our hands on them next month. We think they’d look great with a magnet on the back so you can attach them to the fridge.

Let’s take a better look at them both.

LEGO 40520 Beijing Postcard

  • £13.49
  • 280 pieces
  • Age 9+

The Chinese capital is captured in all its colourful, historical glory. There’s an ancient Chinese temple to be seen, and the Great Wall of China. And in case you still aren’t sure what you’re looking at, there’s a ‘Beijing’ plaque and a Chinese flag flying over the Great Wall. Click here to see more on LEGO’s website.

LEGO 40519 New York Postcard

  • £13.49
  • 254 pieces
  • Age 9+
  • 1 minifigure

Start spreading the news! The New York Postcard features some unmistakable New York landmarks: there’s a Statue of Liberty minifigure, the Manhattan Bridge (or is that the Brooklyn Bridge? It’s hard to tell when they’re made out of LEGO…), the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center. Again, there’s a ‘New York’ plaque and an American flag. Find out more at LEGO.com.
