The Jeep Wrangler is Getting the LEGO Technic Treatment, Out in January

LEGO has announced yet another set to its ever-growing January 1st release line-up. This time, it’s the LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler, which is modelled on the iconic real-life vehicle.

A chunky 4×4 off-roader, the Jeep Wrangler is eye-catching thanks to its bright yellow design. It sports four chunky wheels (and a spare one on the back, of course), a winch at the front, and working steering.

There’s 665 pieces in the model, which will retail for £44.99. That’s not bad value at all, if you ask us.

Jeep itself is very pleased with how the LEGO model has turned out. Mark Allen, head of design at the company, says:

“Ask any Jeep Wrangler owner and they’ll tell you that their vehicle is just a bigger version of this new LEGO set. The design of the Jeep Wrangler allows them to take it apart, top off, doors off, reconfigure it, add new pieces from our Mopar team, and then put it back together again. This LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler should bring a new level of joy to our Jeep enthusiasts and help inspire future designers to the brand.”

It’ll be available in LEGO stores and other retailers from 1st January. LEGO’s new year line-up continues to grow, and the LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler is so far joining:

Phew. RIP our wallets in January 2021. More pictures of the upcoming LEGO Technic Jeep Wrangler are below.
