Time to update our round-up of LEGO Technic sets launching on 1st January 2022: LEGO has just announced another one. It’s a BMW M 1000 RR motorcycle, made up of 1,920 pieces and costing £174.99.
It’s a rather big and expensive Technic set, then, but it’s impressive-looking – especially if you’re a motorbike fan. This is a full recreation of the real thing at a 1:5 scale, packed with authentic features. It has a 3-speed gearbox, steering, front and rear suspension, chain transmission, and a 4-piston engine. Well, a replica engine. There are no motor functions here, unfortunately.
Strangely enough, the LEGO Technic 42130 BMW M 1000 RR comes with two separate display stands so you can choose exactly how you want to show it off. It also comes with an Ultimate Collectors Series style placard providing information about the set and the real-world bike it’s modelled on.
So: The BMW M 1000 RR will be available from 1st January priced at £174.99. It’ll be exclusive to LEGO until 1st March, when it’ll become available at other LEGO retailers. Find out more information about the set by clicking here.
